Chai Kalevar is the author of the book Climate Change in the Nuclear Age: Fukushima is Beating War Drums!. Climate Change in the Nuclear Age: Fukushima is beating War Drums is a book for environmental or planetary activists. It deals with variety of environmental topics in simple poetry enhanced with many real life pictures of his international participation in numerous UN sponsored conferences & other activists organised conferences & actions. It has over 200 photos of activist participation in life by the author. The book is not an academic book full of footnotes. It is a futuristic book where there are no footnotes. Poetic license is used to present the possible futuristic scenarios, which does not lend itself to footnotes. The spirit of the book is let the dead past bury its footnotes, let us keep our future in sight with well informed past experiences.

There are about 60 poems titles as varied as:
1: Spare seats in Noah’s Ark
2: To Be not to Bee
3: Whose job it is to save our planet?
4: Have we lost our way?
5: Every flick counts
6: Here & Now
7: President or Pentagon. Etc

An Activist Agenda is recorded. It refers to failure of WHO ( World Health Organisation) in informing us all of global but invisible & imperceptible Alpha, Beta & Gamma rays of our over 70 years old Nuclear Age. If we can know temperatures & pressures all over the world on our cell phones, why not deadly Alpha, Beta & Gamma rays? Some documents suggest that WHO is muffled by pro nuclear industry agencies like  IAEA - International Atomic Energy Agency etc.

Just like Climate Change, Nuclear Age cannot be ignored & has economic costs & survival risks. Fukushima’s is still unrepaired after 7 years and its potential risks remain unevaluated. Casting shadows on our existential futures.
The book is available in colour or Black & White pictures.

"Chai Kalevar is a passionate environmental humanist. His observations are a necessary read. Regardless of whether a reader agrees with the conclusions, his narrative is thought provoking."
~ David Miller, Mayor of Toronto 2003-2010, past World Bank advisor on urban issues, President and CEO of WWF-Canada since 2013
"Climate Change in the Nuclear Age is a fascinating work - not only because of the ground it covers so comprehensively, and its wealth of informative photographs, but also because of its unique format. It consists partly of prose essays and expositions, and partly of Poems."
~ John Ambury, Writers and editors network, Canadian Poetry Association
"I must say this is a fascinating way to teach about all the ecological global problems with poetry, humour and hard cold truths. I hope millions of people read it, for if they don't, I'm not sure how they can be adequately educated about the perilous state of planetary existence."
~ Dr. Helen Caldicott

Dr. Caldicott was the president of Physicians for Social Responsibility (PSR) from 1989-1983. PSR was the co-winner of the 1985 Nobel Peace Prize along with International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War, a group formed through the work of PSR. Dr. Caldicott was the author of many books such as War In Heaven: The Arms Race In Outer Space, Nuclear Power Is Not The Answer, The New Nuclear Danger, A Desperate Passion, and Nuclear Madness.
